Welcome to WingsuitLearn!

Get to know us a little, and you might want to know more…

As the adventure in wingsuiting has progressed, the need for learning and training has become paramount.  WSL began as a way to capture all the tips and tricks learned along the way.

There are two reasons behind the creation of WSL:

  1. To share the experience and knowledge gained over the years of intense training and practice, including skydiving, wingsuiting, and eventually wingsuit BASE.
  2. The act of writing and explaining the learning process solidifies the knowledge for WSL authors.  Essentially, giving away the knowledge benefits us by reinforcing the principles we have learned.

To begin with, let’s see a picture of a wingsuit in action.  This sexy suit is the Squirrel Freak 3 (the Freak 4 is coming in early 2021).

There it is, in all its glory!  This Lucky Charms wingsuit is one-of-a-kind.  There are no other wingsuits like it in the world.
Unfortunately, General Mills did not sponsor this suit.  Perhaps with sufficient skills, they’ll pick up the tab for the next suit.  Are you listening General Mills??

Although we may behave like children, WSL is not for kids, kids can’t skydive.

WSL is here to help you as you progress through your wingsuiting journey. It will take time my friends. Maybe you’re a sky-ninja who can Ripp the skies on your first try and make us look silly (haven’t met this guy yet), maybe you’re closer to the guy who needs 400 wingsuit skydives before you can do a proper transition (it took Alex about 400). This takes years my bird friends, be patient, keep flying, build skills.

Read through the articles to get familiar with the topics. Hire a coach for a day to practice and get one-on-one training to improve your skills. Come back to WSL for fresh ideas on what to practice next.

See you in the skies bird persons….

Blue Skies,

WSL
